How Sharing a Daily Task List can help folks with ADHD - PODCAST

Brittany and Colleen discuss the different ways members of The ADHD Guild go about using the potentially enormous power of posting a list of the tasks you're hoping to get done that day. From the practical side of breaking down specifically what actions look like, to including fun emoji, this tool has been helpful for many Guild members.

Having a public, but non-judgmental and supportive space in which to share the stuff you intend to get done today is one of the many benefits of a community such as ours. Many of our members have benefitted greatly by it!

  • There’s a huge benefit to posting your daily goals in a public place

    • If you have that feeling like your work for the day is never done, make sure you have defined what you want to do in a day first. We can’t feel successful if we’ve never defined what success means
  • There are option in how you post your lists: If typing in text isn’t your jam, you can post a pic of a handwritten or computer list of daily tasks

  • You can come back and check them off to show off what you’ve done. Or just have that one point of contact.

    • (Can brag about them later in #ADHD-brags, too!)
  • You can go back in history and see how you’ve done over time. Are your lists getting more realistic?
